Kfir Ziv was born in Old Jaffa, Israel. In 1997, upon the completion of his military service as the head photographer for Israel's defense Forces , Ziv moved to New York City.

He has become a master in digial photography. Ziv's distinguished clients include L'Oreal. shisheido, Voss, and Calvin Klein Cosmetics.

Ziv's work emphasizes the scientific discipline of crisp still life, with the art of bringing objects to life through an energy that is immediatly apparent.

His work has been published in the New york times, Harper's Bazar, WWD and other prominent publications. Apart from his commercial activities, Ziv has taken part in a collaborative group installation at New York's Chelsea Museum and has shown his work in several exhibitions.
