Alex Levin was born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1975. After three years of schooling at the local Secondary school, Alex joined the Art academy, and graduated it with honors. In 1990, Alex immigrated to Israel. Since then, he continues to live in Herzeliya, where he parralels his work on art and studies with professor Baruch Elron who is the chairman of Israel Artist Association.
After serving three years in the Israeli army, in 1997 Alex entered the industrial and web design program from which he has drawn a great benefit for his artwork.
Alex Levin artwork contributed to numerous private, corporate and institutional collections in the United States, Israel, France, Italy, Austarlia, Germany, and Belgium.
In one of his collections, "Jerusalem Revelations", Alex Levin depicted Jerusalem's holy western wall and its surrounding religious neighbourhood. Through the strokes of his brush, Alex has captured the Ancient traditions and inhabitants of Jerusalems' ultra -orthodox neighborhood of Mea Shearim, Jewish Attributed and people at the western wall, one of the most holy places for judaism.
